Allergy
Allergy, also called hypersensitivity, is an overdrawn response of our immune system to some foreign substances often termed as allergen like pollens, furry animals’ dander, dust, medicines and to some kind of foods.
Some common symptoms of allergy are:
- Incessant sneezing
- Itching of the nose
- Runny, stuffy nose
- Watery, red or swollen eyes (conjunctivitis)
- Tingling in the mouth
- Swelling of the lips, tongue, face or throat
- Hives all over the body
- Cough, chest tightness, wheezing or shortness of breath etc.
